San Onofre State Beach offers 175 bluff campground sites and 157 sites at near by San Mateo.
San Onofre BLUFFS:
This section of the park offers campsites along the old Highway 101, adjacent to the sandstone cliffs. There are six dirt trails which access the beach, some of which are steep.
San Mateo Campground:
The San Mateo section of the park is inland, about one and a half mile walk to the beach.
